Introduction

PBS Postdoctoral Research Programme offers an exceptional opportunity for scholars to advance their research careers in a dynamic, collaborative, and supportive academic environment. This programme is designed to:

  • Foster high-quality, impactful research in business and management disciplines.
  • Promote collaboration between PBS faculty members and international scholars.
  • Encourage innovation and knowledge creation that contributes to both academic and professional communities

To qualify for this programme, applicants must have a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree within the last five years from the time of postdoctoral application with good publication track record.

A bench fee of USD 1,000.00 is payable upon registration.


This fee supports virtual learning activities and research-related resources provided by PBS.

To successfully complete the Postdoctoral Research Programme, fellows must fulfil the following:

1. Publication Requirement

  • Publish at least two (2) CIJ-indexed journal articles within the appointment period.
  • Be listed as the first author for all required publications.
  • Co-author all publications with your assigned PBS supervisor.
  • Clearly state Putra Business School (PBS) as your affiliation in each publication.

2. Active Research Requirement

  • Demonstrate consistent research progress under the guidance of your supervisor.
  • Participate actively in PBS research seminars, workshops, and scholarly activities.

3. Final Report Submission

  • Submit a Postdoctoral Completion Report summarising your research outcomes, publications, and key achievements before the end of your appointment.

    • Confirmation of Employment Status letter from your previous university
