12 October 2025 – Putra Business School (PBS) organised an educational industry visit to Bursa Malaysia, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nahariah Jaffar and Dr. Noor Maimun Abdul Wahab. The visit brought together 46 PBS students and aimed to gain practical insights into Malaysia’s dynamic financial landscape. The delegation participated in Bursa Malaysia’s Sens-Ability Programme, an initiative designed to promote financial literacy through interactive learning on personal money management, budgeting, savings, investment strategies, and financial fraud awareness. Participants also attended informative sessions on the Derivatives Market, Exchange-Traded Funds (ETF), and MyBursa, followed by a guided tour of the Knowledge Centre. The visit provided valuable exposure to real-world financial operations and enriched students’ understanding of the capital market ecosystem. #businessschool #university

13 November 2025 – Putra Business School (PBS) successfully conducted its latest leadership development workshop, “Putra Management and Leadership Programme | Fundamentals of AI for Executive Staff in Healthcare Services,” at Tenera Hotel & Suites, Bandar Baru Bangi. This collaborative training initiative between Medivest and PBS was officiated by Ts. Abdullah Hashim, Chief Executive Officer of Medivest, and Prof. Dr. Azmawani Abd Rahman, President & Chief Executive Officer of PBS, both of whom were present at the workshop’s opening. Their attendance signifies the shared commitment of both organisations to strengthening staff capabilities and equipping the workforce with AI-driven competencies as an essential future skill. The workshop began with an engaging ice-breaking session on "AI Myths in Healthcare." The session then progressed into a series of comprehensive learning modules covering the basics of artificial intelligence, decision-making with uncertainty, hands-on machine learning and GenAI tools, and ethical and regulatory considerations for the Malaysian healthcare sector. The workshop's engaging delivery and forward-thinking insights received much praise from attendees.
