YM Dato’ Syed Haizam Hishamuddin Putra Jamalullail
YM Dato’ Syed Haizam Hishamuddin Putra Jamalullail is the Chairman of YPBS Board of Directors. He is currently the Managing Partner of both Tuas Capital Partners investment group and The Hive Southeast Asia, a Co-Creation and Seed Venture Capital Fund Management Company. He was previously the Investment Director of KFM Advisory Sdn. Bhd. (formerly KAF Fund Management Sdn. Bhd.). His directorships in private companies include Segi Value Holdings Sdn. Bhd., the operator of a wholesale hypermarket chain under the brand name, “Segi Fresh” throughout Selangor and the Greater Klang Valley and Srivijaya Sdn. Bhd., the owner of the Cold Stone Creamery F&B franchise for Malaysia. In addition, Dato’ Syed Haizam is an Independent Non-Executive Director of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).

Dato’ Dr. Mohamed Razali bin Dato’ Mohamed Yusoff
Dato’ Dr. Mohamed Razali is the Executive Chairman and Managing Director of Nusantara Technologies Sdn. Bhd., and the President of the Malaysian Minang Intellectuals Association (PCMM) which engages in education, economics and culture. He is highly renowned and respected as an active leader and member of numerous innovative and social councils and organizations, among which are the National Social Development and Welfare Council, the Malaysian Industrial Development Authority (MIDA), and Strategic Plan Committee for Improvement of University-Industry/Community Collaborations.
Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mohd. Roslan Sulaiman
Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mohd. Roslan Sulaiman is the Vice Chancellor of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). He served as UPM’s deputy vice-chancellor (Student and Alumni Affairs) for three years, and held several administrative and academic positions, including the Board of Principals of UPM Student Residence chairman, and the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences deputy dean (Student and Alumni Affairs). He has extensive experience in managing student affairs, as well as ensuring the implementation of various programmes aimed at strengthening the culture of volunteerism, leadership and students’ soft skills. He has also published more than 200 research results in high-impact journals.
Prof. Dr. Ismi Arif Ismail
Prof. Dr. Ismi Arif Ismail is the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic and International) of Universiti Putra Malaysia. He holds a PhD (Continuing Education) from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom, a Master’s in Extension Education, UPM, and a Bachelor of Education with Honours (Teaching English as a Second Language – TESL) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. He specialises in the areas of extension and continuing education, teaching and learning, youth development, leadership and human resource development. He was appointed as the Director of the Institute for Social Science Studies (IPSAS), UPM, from 2020 to 2022. Between 2013 and 2015, Prof. Dr. Ismi was seconded as the Deputy Director of the Teaching and Learning Leadership Centre at the Higher Education Leadership Academy (AKEPT), Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE).
Dato’ Zakri Afandi bin Ismail
Dato’ Zakri Afandi is an Accounting graduate from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), a Chartered Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), a member of the Malaysian Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA MALAYSIA), a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) Australia. His illustrative career spans over a period of 25 years, with many achievements and contributions to field. Currently, he is a Director of KAF Investment Funds Berhad and sits on the board of various companies.
