Prof. Dr. Roselina Ahmad Saufi

Professor Dr. Roselina Ahmad Saufi obtained her Ph.D (Management) and Master of Business Administration in 1995 and 1991 respectively from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom. She is currently a Professor in Management and Business at the Azman Hashim International Business School, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. She is known for her dynamism and scholarly work in human capacity building. She was the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic and International) at Universiti Malaysia Kelantan from 2012-2015 and prior to that she was the Group Managing Director of UM Link Holdings Sdn. Bhd. from 2007-2012. In 2009, she was awarded the Islamic Leader Fellowship by Asian Institute of Management (AIM), Manila. From 2008 to 2010 she was the President of Comprehensive Human Capability Association, Inc. (Phillipines) in Zamboaga that focus on community development.

Prof. Dr. Roselina’s research and consultancy works focus on capacity building of rural entrepreneurs and human capital development at both national and international levels. Among of the agencies she has rendered her services include Petronas, Siemens Semiconductor, SharpRoxy, KISMEC, Maldivian Air-Taxi (Maldives), Ministry of Internal Trade Affair and Consumerism (Malaysia), Ministry of Public Work (Indonesia), Ministry of Industrial Development, Sabah, Sabah Electricity Board, Education Department of Sabah, Municipal Council of Sandakan in Sabah, Sabah Energy Corporation, Universiti Andalas, (Indonesia), Universiti Muhammadiyah (Indonesia), Nihon Fukushi University (Japan), and Helsinki School of Economics (Finland) and Govt. Officials from Philippines, Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia, Thailand, and China. She is currently one of the focal points for the Malaysia Administration of Modernisation and Planning Unit (MAMPU); Malaysia National Professors Council; National Council for Knowledge Transfer; and the Human Resource Development Fund of Malaysia.

She has delivered key note speeches in several international conferences at both ASEAN and Asia regions and published works in the areas of human resource, knowledge transfer and entrepreneurship. She is currently a Visiting Professor at Anhui Xinhua University, P.R. China and Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta, Indonesia. She has produced numerous doctorate and master students in the areas of organizational studies and human resource. She has received national and international awards and recognition for her contribution.
