Professor Dr. Roselina Ahmad Saufi is currently a Professor in Business and Management at the Faculty of Entrepreneurship and Business, Universiti Malaysia Kelantan. She obtained her Ph.D and Master of Business Administration in 1995 and 1991 respectively from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom. She was the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic and International) at Universiti Malaysia Kelantan from 2012-2015 and prior to that she was the Group Managing Director of UMS Link Holdings Sdn. Bhd. from 2007-2012. From 2008 to 2010 she was the President of Comprehensive Human Capability Association, Inc. (Phillipines) in Zamboaga. She has received several international awards including Islamic Leader Fellowship Award by Asian Institute of Management (AIM), Manila in 2009, Education Leadership Award by the Golden Global Tigers in 2016, and Distinguished Women Award for Human Resource Management from the Venus International Foundation, India in 2017. In 2015 she was seconded to Azman Hashim International Business School, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia untill 2018.
Prof. Dr. Roselina’s research and consultancy works focus on capacity building, and rural entrepreneurs’ development at both national and international levels. She has obtained several research grants in capacity building. She has rendered her services to numerous government agencies and NGOs in Indonesia, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, China, Finland, Japan, and Malaysia. Some of the private companies she has rendered her service are Petronas, Siemens Semiconductor, Sharp-Roxy, Maldivian Air-Taxi (Maldives), Professional Institute of Baitulmal Malaysia. She is one of the focal points for organizational development, and human development at the Malaysia Administration of Modernisation and Planning Unit (MAMPU); Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission (SPRM), Malaysia National Professors Council; National Council for Knowledge Transfer; and Human Resource Development Fund of Malaysia. She is engaged in the Global Entrepreneurship Network of Babson Academy, USA and the Swiss Innovation Challenge of the University of Arts and Applied Science in Switzerland.
She has delivered numerous key note speeches at several international conferences and published works in the areas of human resource development, knowledge transfer and entrepreneurship in reputable journals. She is currently a Visiting Professor at Anhui Xinhua University, P.R. China, Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta, Indonesia, Xiamen University, DRB HICOM University of Automative, and a Fellow at the Putra Business School, Malaysia. She has produced more than 50 doctorate and master students in the areas of organizational studies and human resource. She is passionate in leading and developing people around the globe.
