MBA (INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS)

INTRODUCTION

PBS aims to nurture future leaders that practise human governance values and principles. PBS also engages in research, consulting, and business development activities.

This programme caters to top managers who would like to have an in-depth understanding of the business world. It focuses on how to handle cross-cultural issues as well as the practical logistics of working for a company that operates in multiple countries on multiple continents. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must possess one of the following qualifications:

  • A recognised Bachelor’s degree with a CGPA of at least 2.75 or its equivalent (i).
  • A recognised Bachelor’s degree with a CGPA below 2.75 but not lower than 2.50 will be considered based on a strict internal assessment (including test, interview or portfolio); or
  • A recognised Bachelor’s degree with a CGPA below 2.50 will be considered if he/she has had a minimum 5 years of working experience; or
  • A professional qualification that is recognised as being equivalent to (i) above; or
  • A pass at Level 7 Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) assessment by Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA); or
  • Other qualifications approved by the PBS Senate.

All international candidates graduated from degree programmes whereby English is not the medium of instruction must have obtained a minimum of 550 for the TOEFL Paper-based test or 80 for the Internet-based test, or IELTS Band 6.0, or MUET Band 5.0.
