17 April 2024 - "Guide to Graduating on Time: Do's & Don'ts," a Putra Business School (PBS) Alumni Sharing Session, was successfully held via Zoom. The session was conducted by PBS PhD alumni Dr. Andrew Saw Tek Wei who is also with the Labuan Faculty of International Finance, Universiti Malaysia Sabah. His engaging presentation style, relatable experiences and practical advice received positive feedback from the participants. SUCCESS STORY: Mostafizur Rahman, PhD (Management), Class of 2024 “Congratulations Dr.” How sweet the words are! The experience behind the journey was very interesting and adventurous, like climbing the mountain to reach the peak without any kind of tools, just like a very old manual climber. The journey was full of thrills and excitement. My one was not exceptional. However, finally, I was able to complete the journey and make my destination clear. Alhamdulillah, everything from my respectable and honourable supervisors’ distinguished professors, Prof. Dr. Sazali Abdul Wahab and Ts. Dr. Ahmad Shaharudin Abdul Latiff, along with the total team of PBS officials, made my PhD journey very smooth and distinct. My honourable supervisors always motivated me to concentrate and keep focused on my research work and publications. By following their directions and guidelines, I consistently focused on my research work and published some research articles from my PhD research. Mashallah, among them, two of my papers reached 5000+ and 4000+ reads on Research Gate within one year. I think this is the beginning of my research career in management and organisational sustainability. In all of my difficulties, the total team of Putra Business School was always with me, from honourable supervisors to all officials. Their spontaneous support and nice cooperation made me so happy throughout my PhD journey. With so many memories in Malaysia, especially in PBS, I made some bonding with many international intellectual friends from around the world.
