Amir Raslan Abu Bakar is the Associate Professor of Practice and Director of Quality of Assurance at Putra Business School (PBS). He holds a PhD specializing in Corporate Reputation Management from the University of Cambridge.
Amir’s other academic qualifications include Master of Arts in Public Policy and Management from the University of York, Master of Economics from the University of Malaya, Master of Information Technology from the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Executive Master in Administrative Science from the Universiti Teknologi Mara, B.A. (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from the University of The West of England, Bristol and Post Graduate Diploma in Islamic Studies from the International Islamic University Malaysia. Apart from that, he also gained Chartered Islamic Financial Professional from INCEIF.
Amir joins the Putra Business School (PBS) after serving spending more than 20 years working in various industries in Malaysia and abroad namely in the UK and Saudi Arabia specializing in the areas of strategic management, corporate planning, business process re-engineering and change management. His research interests are in the areas of strategic management, corporate reputation management, organization behavior, international marketing, policy development and developmental economics.
