Putra Business School Launches the MBA in Marketing with Certified Professional Marketer (CPM) Asia Certification Programme
On the 6th of March 2017, at UPM Serdang, Putra Business School (PBS) had achieved yet another milestone. This time, it signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Institute of Marketing Malaysia (IMM) to run the MBA in Marketing, with Certified Professional Marketer (CPM) Asia Certification programme. Eminent guests at the ceremony were YBhg. Tan Sri Rafidah Aziz, the Honorary Fellow of IMM, Prof. Datin Paduka Dr Aini Ideris, the Vice-Chancellor of UPM, and Prof. Datuk Dr Raduan Che Rose, CEO of Majlis Professor Negara, among others.
PBS was the first private institution of higher learning (IPTS) in the country to embark on this innovative collaboration initiative with the industry, in particular with a professional body. This new MBA programme will give its students a competitive edge and higher marketability, upon graduation. The graduates will receive two certificates, which are the MBA degree and the CPM (Asia).
