Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management (MIHRM)was established in 1975 as Malaysia’s first professional bodypromoting the practice of human resource management. As the leading and independent body in Malaysia, MIHRM has trainedmore than 20,000 competent HR professionals and practitioners in both the private and public sectors.

The wide array of professional training courses, public programmes, consultations and support for organisations and individuals has put MIHRM at the forefront of the industry as the sole authority on human resource management in the country.

This is consistent with its reputation as the only professional body authorised to certify HR practitioners in Malaysia. MIHRM is also affiliated with the World Federation of People Management Association (USA) and Asia Pacific Federation of Human Resource Management (APFHRM) and other reputable regional Human Resource Management Associations.

  • A Bachelor’s degree with a CGPA of at least 2.75 or its equivalent with a minimum 3 years of related working experience at managerial level. An applicant with a CGPA of below 2.75  will only be considered if he/she has had adequate working experience; or
  • A professional qualification that is recognised as being equivalent to (i) above; or
  • Other qualifications approved by the PBS Senate.
  • In addition, all international applicants must meet the language proficiency requirements of the University: – All international candidates from countries where English is not a medium of instruction must have obtained a minimum TOEFL 550 or Band 6.0 for IELTS.

  • Lectures are conducted on alternate weekends (Saturdays and Sundays).

  • There will be 1 – 2 weeks of inter trimester break.
  • There will be 1 week of break for festive holiday in every trimester.
  • Study duration is 18 months.
